Yes, all pieces are completely safe for use with food. All my glazes are lead free. In fact, I do not have lead in any clay or glaze material in my studio.

We only recommend putting cups in the microwave. The problem with the plates is that sometimes the combination of cold food, rapid heating, and its flat shape creates a problem of heat distribution and the plate can crack.

NOTE: Using any piece of pottery in the microwave will result in a hot temperature. Be aware of heat before touching any handles with your hands.

If you want to use your pottery in the oven, you need to preheat the oven with the pottery inside. Pottery is not broil safe.
